Vivek Kailas specializes in M&A, corporate law, and corporate finance. Vivek has extensive experience advising both Danish and international clients on business transfers. Vivek has over 15 years of practical experience as a lawyer and has handled countless M&A transactions. In the past five years, Vivek has managed M&A transactions with a total deal value exceeding DKK 35 billion in total enterprise value.
Vivek also has extensive experience in corporate law – particularly transaction-related corporate law, mergers and demergers, shareholder agreements, and joint ventures. Additionally, Vivek has considerable experience in corporate finance, including financing and collateralization in connection with loans.
As a complement to his legal background, Vivek has completed both an MBA and an HD in Finance (equivalent to a BSc in Finance).
Before joining NJORD, he worked for several years as an in-house attorney at one of the largest companies in Denmark. His advice is therefore based not only on legal skills but also on practical and commercial understanding.
