Ulla Fabricius has, for many years, advised both national and international transport companies and insurance firms on all aspects of transport, shipping, and insurance.

As the author of a legal commentary on international road transport (CMR), Ulla Fabricius is an expert in international road transport. She deals with all aspects of road transport, including conflict resolution regarding driving and rest periods, cabotage, and the posting of drivers.

Ulla Fabricius has significant experience in drafting and negotiating complex logistics agreements and transport concepts. In this capacity, she participated in the drafting of Incoterms 2010, Incoterms 2020, and UCP 600, thus possessing in-depth knowledge of risk management in international trade relations. Ulla authored the chapter on transport legislation in EU Karnov and contributed the chapter on freight agreements in the 2022 updated version of Karnov Business Law.

Additionally, Ulla Fabricius was responsible for drafting the Danish Port Conditions 2007 (stevedore conditions), giving her a particular aptitude for advising within the stevedore industry.

While Ulla Fabricius was an external lecturer in transport law at CBS, she received the students' award "The Golden Pointer" for her exceptional ability to convey transport law.

The International Chambers of Commerce (ICC) has since 2006 appointed Ulla Fabricius as specialist within the area of transport and logistics. Ulla Fabricius is thus a member of the ICC Committee on Customs and Trade Facilitation.

Ulla Fabricius is behind the chapter on transport in EU-Karnov 2020. The transport chapter also covers railways, sea transport, ports, airports, road safety, etc., and the EU rules are of great practical importance to many businesses and all citizens. 


DRIVING TIME AND REST PERIODS 

On behalf of the Danish employers' and workers' organisations, Ulla Fabricius has prepared a report for the Danish Ministry of Justice and the Director of Public Prosecutions recommending a revision of the entire regulation on driving time and rest periods. Subsequently, the recommendations were substantially followed and implemented by law.
