NJORD recognized with an award in Novartis collaboration

Novartis, one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies and a global leader in research and development of new medicines, works with more than 150 law firms and patient specialists worldwide. Once a year, Novartis gathers all its partners for an inspiring seminar, during which four awards are presented to partners who have made a special contribution.

In 2020, NJORD won the ‘Novartis Award for Excellence in Litigation’ for our year-long effort to define the boundaries of legal repackaging of drugs and combat the illegal exploitation of Novartis' trademarks. In the latest award ceremony, NJORD once again secured the major prize. This time, it was for our work in a series of legal cases where we, as one of three law firms, represented Novartis before the EU Court of Justice and won several landmark cases against the largest European parallel importers.
