Miriam Michaelsen leads NJORD's interdisciplinary legal team, providing counsel and assistance to individuals, businesses, and organizations in cases related to cybersecurity, digital harassment, and violence. Additionally, she conducts legal proceedings involving digital infringements, including the unlawful sharing of images and videos with offensive content on the internet. These cases range from criminal matters involving sentencing, compensation, and restitution to specialized areas of law such as copyright law, personal data law, marketing law, and compensation regulations.

Miriam Michaelsen also specializes in individual and collective employment law, offering guidance and support to both Danish and international businesses in negotiations, legal proceedings, contract law, and commercial law. Furthermore, she is one of the country's leading experts on employers' obligations in cases of digital harassment and violence.

As part of NJORD's corporate law team, Miriam Michaelsen also provides legal assistance to clients in corporate law matters, including establishment, purchase, and sale.

With her expertise in all aspects of HR and employment law, Miriam Michaelsen has compiled NJORD’s HR eBogen, a digital HR tool free of paragraphs.

In 2017, she founded the Digital Responsibility Association, which advocated for up-to-date legislation and effective investigation of digital infringements. Additionally, she has been appointed by the Minister of Culture as the chairperson of the Media Council, where she works to improve and secure the digital well-being, welfare, skills, and rights of children and young people.
